  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • food coloring (any color and as much as one desires)

    Mix all ingredients together in saucepan and cook over medium heat (stirring continually) until it forms a ball.

    Turn out on cookie sheet or aluminum foil and cool until it can be easily handled.

    Then knead very well.
