Play-Time Dough

Directions

   Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.

   In medium bowl, mix 1 1/2 cups flour, salt and cream of tartar; mix well. In small bowl, mix boiling water, oil and food coloring.

   Add to flour mixture; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Cool to room temperature, about 3 minutes.

   On lightly floured surface, knead in up to 1/4 cup flour until dough is smooth, about 3 minutes.

   Store in tightly covered container.

   Makes 1 1/2 cups of fun.
