- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg
- chopped onion (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pt. tomato sauce or tomatoes or tomato juice
Directions

1Mix all ingredients, except tomatoes, and form into balls. Brown in skillet.

2Add tomato sauce.

3Cover and cook at low temperature until rice is done (about 1 1/2 hours).
