- 2 lbs ripe plums, washed,quartered
- 34 cup light corn syrup
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 14 cups buttermilk baking mix
- 12 cup nuts, chpd.
- 13 cup milk
- 14 cup sugar
Directions

1Mix syrup, sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon together.

2Toss with plums.

3Spoon into 8x8x2-inch baking dish.

4Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.

5Meanwhile combine all batter ingredients, and beat 20 strokes.

6Drop batter by spoonfuls onto hot plums.

7Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.

8Note: This cobbler is very tart, but delicious with ice cream or whipped topping.
