  • 4 c. Italian prunes, pitted and sliced
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. grated orange peel
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • dash of salt
  • 1/4 c. butter

    Combine prunes, sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, cinnamon and orange peel.

    Mix well.

    Put mixture in an 8-inch round pan.

    Combine 3/4 cup flour, brown sugar and salt. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle mixture over the prunes. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown on top.
