Ingredients: 3/4 c. Crisco; 2 c. sugar; 3 eggs; 1 tsp. vanilla; 2 small or 1 large strained baby food plums; 1 tsp. red food coloring; 2 c. flour; 1 tsp. soda; 1/2 tsp. salt; 1 tsp. cloves and cinnamon; 1 c. chopped nuts; 1 c. powdered sugar; lemon juice

2 c. sugar

1 tsp. vanilla
2 small or 1 large strained baby food plums
1 tsp. red food coloring
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves and cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. powdered sugar
lemon juice

Directions

Sift together flour, soda, salt, cloves and cinnamon.

Add to first 6 ingredients (mixed together) and add nuts.

Grease and flour a tube cake pan; pour mixture in and place in preheated oven at 350° for 1 hour.

Glaze with powdered sugar and lemon juice to make it spread evenly.
