- 6 c. plums, pitted and chopped (about 4 lb.)
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 pkg. powdered pectin
- 7 c. sugar
Directions

1Combine plums, water, lemon juice and pectin in a large sauce pot.

2Bring to a rolling boil over high heat, stirring frequently. Add sugar; return to a rolling boil.

3Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.

4Pour hot into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.

5Adjust caps.

6Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath.

7Yield: about 8 half pints.
