- 1 qt. sugar
- water
Directions

1In a large saucepot, put washed plums and barely cover with water.

2Cook until skins break open and fruit is tender.

3Pour into a colander and remove seeds and peelings.

4Measure the amount of juice and pulp; add equal amount of sugar and bring to a boil. Stir constantly to avoid sticking on bottom.

5Simmer until mixture is thick enough to put in hot, dry jars.
