  • 3 plums, quartered and pitted
  • 3 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces water

Directions

    In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil with the sugar and lemon juice.

    Add the plums and simmer over moderate heat until the plums begin to fall apart, about 30 minutes.
