Plum Sauce

- 1 lb. firm, ripe plums
- 1 1/4 c. white wine vinegar
- 2 cloves
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. fresh chopped mint
Directions

1Wash and pit the plums.

2Stew them in the vinegar with the cloves and sugar until they are tender.

3Remove the cloves and puree the mixture in a blender or food processor.

4Put the sauce in a saucepan, and add the mint.

5Reheat.

6If you find the sauce is a little too sharp, add more sugar.
