- 4 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 c. Port wine (Rosy Port)
- large slice orange rind
Directions

1Fill 3-quart saucepan 1/3 full of water.

2Add orange peel, cloves and cinnamon.

3Bring to light boil for 5 to 10 minutes. Add pears and Port; cover and continue at a light boil for 15 minutes or until pears are tender.

4Serve with Port sauce.
