- 2 fresh trout, whole and cleaned, about 1/2 lb. each or two fillets, about 1 to 1 1/2 lb. total
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1/3 c. water
- 4 to 5 slices lemon
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- couple sprigs parsley
Directions

1Place fish in skillet just large enough to hold both.

2Add combined milk, water, lemon slices, spice, salt and parsley.

3Cover and cook over low heat, 20 to 25 minutes, until just tender and flaky to a fork test.

4With large spatula, carefully remove to warm platter; garnish with lemon slices.

5Pour Caper Sauce over all and serve immediately.
