  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup dry Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 6 Tbsp. A.1. Original Sauce, divided
  • 2 tsp. dried minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tsp. KRAFT Prepared Horseradish
  • 4 sesame seed hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, cut into 4 slices

    Heat broiler.

    Mix meat, bread crumbs, 3 Tbsp.

    steak sauce, onion and garlic powder just until blended; shape into 8 (1/4-inch-thick) patties.

    Mix cheese, remaining steak sauce and horseradish.

    Top each of 4 patties with 1/4 cup cheese mixture.

    Cover with remaining patties; pinch edges together to seal.

    Broil patties, 4 inches from heat, 7 to 9 min.

    Fill buns with burgers, lettuce and tomatoes.
