- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. boiling water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. melted butter
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Combine cornmeal, cold water and salt.

2Stir into boiling water.

3Stir constantly over low heat for 15 minutes.

4Add 2 tablespoons butter and stir.

5Stir until thickens.

6Spread on polenta board or on individual plates.

7Sprinkle each serving with melted butter (optional) and Parmesan cheese.

8Spread on sauce and more cheese.
