Polenta Gnocchi

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. polenta
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- salt, cayenne and nutmeg
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Prepare polenta (see Polenta recipe) with Parmesan cheese; add salt, cayenne pepper and nutmeg to taste.

3With moistened hands, form polenta into 2-inch rounds or ovals.

4Place them in single layer in greased shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and butter.

5Bake Gnocchi for 30 minutes or until puffed and heated through.

6Place under preheated broiler for 2 minutes or until golden.

7Delicious plain or with a light tomato and basil sauce.
