- 1 lb. Polish sausage or smoked sausage
- 2 (15 oz.) cans chopped sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 4 potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Brown Polish sausage in oil in a large iron skillet or Dutch oven. Add sauerkraut, sugar and water to sausage.

2Add potatoes and bay leaf.

3Cover and simmer until potatoes are done. Serve with cornbread and salad.
