- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp. caraway seeds
- 1 can (27 oz.) sauerkraut, undrained
- 3/4 lb. smoked Polish sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 broiler-fryer chicken (2 to 3 lbs.), cut up
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, combine first four ingredients.

2Place on the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2

3baking dish.

4Top with sausage and chicken.

5Sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme.

6Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes or until chicken is tender, basting occasionally with pan juices.
