Ingredients

  • 2 lb. pork tenderloin, cut into strips
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
  • 1/2 c. bottled Russian dressing
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. onion rings

Directions

    Cook pork in butter until brown; drain off fat.

    Drain juice from pineapple tidbits; reserve fruit.

    Combine juice with next 4 ingredients.

    Stir in water which has been mixed with cornstarch. Pour over meat.

    Cook, stirring until sauce is thickened.

    Cover. Simmer 30 minutes.

    Add onion and pineapple tidbits.

    Simmer 15 minutes.

    Serve over rice.
