- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 6 qt. popcorn
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Mix first 5 ingredients well and cook at medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted or until 290° is reached on candy thermometer.

2Remove from heat and stir in baking soda until syrup becomes foamy.

3Pour over 4 quarts popped popcorn.

4Stir until corn is well coated.

5Butter hands and press corn into balls.
