  • 3 1/2 qt. popped corn (14 c.)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. Karo syrup
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    In saucepan, combine sugar, syrup, water, butter and salt. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until hard ball stage (254°).

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in vanilla.

    Slowly pour syrup over large bowl of popcorn.

    Toss until coated.

    With buttered fingers, quickly shape into 16 balls.
