Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 2/3 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 poppers popcorn

Directions

    Mix in saucepan the sugar, salt, butter, water and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat to 250° on candy thermometer or until a few drops form a hard ball when dropped into cold water.

    Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour in a thin stream over popcorn, stirring constantly.

    Butter your hands and shape into balls on wax paper.
