- 3 qt. popcorn, popped
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix sugar, syrup, water, butter and salt in saucepan and cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves.

2Continue cooking without stirring, until syrup forms a brittle ball in cold water or reaches 250° on a candy thermometer.

3Add vanilla and stir only until mixed through the hot syrup.

4Place popcorn in a large bowl. Pour the cooked syrup slowly over the popcorn and mix well.
