  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 1/2 qt. popped corn
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Put sugar, brown sugar, syrup and water in a saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

    Add butter and continue cooking, without stirring, until the temperature 240° is reached or until mixture forms a soft ball when tested in cold water.

    Put popped corn in a large bowl and sprinkle with salt.

    Pour the hot syrup over it and mix thoroughly.

    Shape in small balls.

    Wrap in wax paper.
