  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • food coloring (if wanted for tint)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 4 qt. popped popcorn
  • 8 large marshmallows or 1/4 jar marshmallow cream

    Mix corn syrup, sugar and cream of tartar; bring to hard boil stage.

    Add rest of ingredients.

    If you use marshmallows, they need to be melted first.
