  • 2 qt. unsalted popped corn
  • 1 1/3 c. pecan halves
  • 2/3 c. sliced almonds
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix popcorn and nuts in a large bowl.

    Set aside. Combine sugar, margarine and corn syrup.

    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook to 300° using a candy thermometer. Add vanilla and very quickly pour over popcorn mixture.

    Stir to coat well and spread on a greased cookie sheet to harden.

    Makes 1 pound.
