  • 2 quart. unsalted popped corn
  • 1 1/3 c. pecan halves
  • 2/3 c. sliced almonds
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

    Mix popcorn and nuts in a large bowl and set aside.

    Combine sugar, butter and corn syrup in heavy saucepan.

    Bring to a boil; stir constantly and cook to 300 degrees using a candy thermometer.

    Add in vanilla and very quickly pour over popcorn and nut mix.

    Stir to coat well and spread on a greased cookie sheet to harden.

    When mix is cooled break into serving size pcs.

    Yield about 1 lb..
