  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 8 fluid oz. salad oil*
  • 4 eggs
  • 13 fluid oz. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar Baker's poppy seed filling

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together. Add all ingredients together. Mix until smooth. Add poppy seed filling. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Turn batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until done. Cool cake 5 to 8 minutes before removing from pan.
