- 1 12 lbs flour
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 1 ounce butter
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 14 pint tepid water
- 12 pint tepid milk
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 egg (for glaze)
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
Directions

1Mix yeast with water& 1tsp sugar.

2Leave til frothy.

3Rub fat into dry ingreds.

4Make a well in centre and pour in liquids and beaten egg.

5Mix to a dough.
-
6Knead til smooth and elastic.

7Cover& leave to rise- 45 mins-until doubled in bulk.

8Turn out and shape in to rolls.

9Cover and leave to rise again then brush lightly with a little beaten egg and sprinkle with poppyseeds.

10Bake 450 F 20-25 for minutes.
