- 2 lb fresh green beans
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 each hamhocks
- 1 1/2 lb yukon gold potatoes, quartered
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp season salt
- 32 oz of your favorite chicken stock.
- 1 freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions

1Clean and trim beans

2Put beans in slow cooker

3Add chicken stock to just cover the beans.

4Add potatoes, onions, hamhocks, garlic and onion powder, season salt and black pepper

5Cover and cook on high till boiling

6Reduce heat to low and cook four hours or until potatoes are done.

7Serve in bowls with hard crusty bread.
