  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. raw rice, rinsed well
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 c. sugar (or sugar substitute)
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Combine the preceding and shape into balls.

    Place in roaster with 1 can tomato soup and 1 can tomato sauce well blended.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour or longer.
