Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice, puffed (Murmura, mumra, mamra or Pori)
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ghee
  • 2 teaspoons oil

Directions

    The puffed rice should be crunchy, if not, roast in 200F oven for 20 minutes.

    Powder puffed rice coarsely.

    Heat oil in fry pan.
  4. 4
    Add sugar and stir.

    When it turns brown, add pori and stir well.

    Transfer to a greased or silicone pan/plate.

    Cut into pieces.

    Variations: Peanuts, cashews, roasted edamame, pretzels, rice crackers, wasabi peas, coconut, raisins, almonds, pecans etc etc.

    When cool, store in a jar.
