  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 c. rice, cooked
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 qt. canned tomatoes with 1 Tbsp. sugar added
  • 4 thick slices onion, preferably Vidalia
  • 1 green bell pepper, seeds removed and cut into strips or rings

Directions

    Salt and pepper pork chops to taste.

    Cook quickly in lightly greased skillet without flour until brown.

    Layer as follows, pork chops, onion slices, pepper strips or rings, chopped celery, cooked rice and tomatoes.

    Put lid on skillet and simmer 35 minutes.
