  • 5 center cut pork chops (1/4-inch thick)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper or less
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. flour

Directions

    Wash chops; dry slightly.

    Season to taste.

    Heat shortening to moderately hot temperature.

    Flour chops; slip into hot grease. Cook chops, covered, during entire cooking time, approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
