  • 6 pork chops
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. cream-style corn
  • 3/4 c. cracker crumbs
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion

Directions

    Brown pork chops in shortening; place in a baking dish.

    Mix remaining ingredients and form into 6 patties.

    Place a patty on top of each chop.

    Add 1/4 cup water.

    Cover; bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes.
