  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb. pork sausage, browned and drained
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 c. thinly sliced celery
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 large apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple, diced, in juice, undrained
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds or pecans
  • 1/2 c. white raisins
  • 1/2 c. orange marmalade
  • 4 c. seasoned stuffing cubes or croutons
  • 3/4 c. chicken broth
