- 1/2 lb. ground lean pork
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. each soy sauce, rice wine and cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. sugar and salt
- 2 c. sweet rice
Directions

1Soak sweet rice in water for 30 minutes.

2Season ground lean pork for at least 30 minutes with the soy sauce, rice wine, cornstarch, sugar and salt.

3Stir the green onions into the ground lean pork.

4Set up a steamer.

5Rinse the sweet rice and put it on a plate.

6Using a tablespoon, scoop some seasoned pork and roll it in the plate of sweet rice.

7Repeat this until all the seasoned pork is used up.

8Place the sweet rice coated pork balls into the steamer.

9Steam for at least 15 minutes.

10Serve with hot rice and other vegetable dishes.

11Makes 20 to 30 balls, depending on size. Cooking time 30 minutes.
