Ingredients

  • 2 c. sliced celery
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. onion bouillon
  • 4 oz. onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium peppers, cut in strips
  • 2 Tbsp. sherry extract
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 pimentos, cut in triangles
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 lb. pork, cooked and thinly sliced
  • 2 c. cooked rice

Directions

    In saucepan, combine celery, mushrooms, bouillon, onion, peppers, sherry extract, soy sauce, salt, pepper, ginger and nutmeg.

    Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until onions and celery are tender but still crisp.

    Add pork and pimentos.

    Mix well.

    Cook 3 minutes longer or until hot.

    Serve over rice.
