- 1 lb. lean boneless pork shoulder
- salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped green onions
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 2 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. green peppers
Directions

1Cut meat in thin, narrow strips.

2Season with salt and pepper. Brown in oil, using an ovenproof skillet.

3Add celery, green onions and peppers.

4Saute until tender.

5Stir in rice, broth and seasonings.

6Bring to a boil, cover and bake at 375° until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

7Fluff rice with a fork.
