- 1 lb cooked pork, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (recipe follows)
- 4 large hamburger buns, buttered dill pickles for garnish
- 1 medium onion, sliced crosswise
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 3/4 cup catsup
- 1/2 1/2 cup sherry wine or 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Directions

1Stir sliced pork into hot barbecue sauce. Cook over low heat until pork is hot.

2Spoon pork in barbecue sauce into hamburger buns.

3Garnish with dill pickles and coleslaw.

4Serve immediately.

5Barbecue sauce:

6Saute onion and garlic in butter in heavy saucepan for 3 to 4 minute or until onion is soft, stirring constantly.

7Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.

8Simmer 5 minute.

9Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.
