Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. pot roast
  • 3 carrots, peeled and quartered
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 2 cans cut green beans
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt-free 17 seasoning
  • 3/4 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
  • 1 tsp. Season-All salt

Directions

    Mix soy sauce, Kitchen Bouquet and all seasonings.

    Rub evenly over roast.

    Chop and dice garlic.

    In large iron skillet or Dutch oven, cook garlic in cooking oil.

    Add onion and roast.

    Brown roast on all sides over medium heat.

    Add 1 cup of water and remaining ingredients.

    Cover tightly.

    Cook slowly in 325° oven for 2 hours or until tender.
