  • 6 to 8 lb. boned chuck roast
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 can mushroom soup

Directions

    Salt and pepper roast on both sides.

    Place enough heavy-duty foil in baking pan to wrap up roast.
  3. 3
    Sprinkle bottom of foil with soup mix before placing roast in pan.

    Sprinkle rest on roast and cover with soup.

    Fold foil over roast and cook for 3 1/2 hours in preheated 350° oven.
