- 6 to 8 lb. boned chuck roast
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 can mushroom soup
Directions

1Salt and pepper roast on both sides.

2Place enough heavy-duty foil in baking pan to wrap up roast.

3Sprinkle bottom of foil with soup mix before placing roast in pan.

4Sprinkle rest on roast and cover with soup.

5Fold foil over roast and cook for 3 1/2 hours in preheated 350° oven.
