- 3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 pkg. dehydrated onion soup mix
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Brown meat thoroughly on all sides, then remove from pot.

2Add onions to pot; add garlic and saute.

3Put meat back in pot.

4Add package of onion mix to 2 cups water; pour over meat.

5Cover tightly and cook 2 hours, adding more water if needed.

6Simmer for the 2 hours.
