- 4 lb. beef pot roast
- plain flour
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- seasoning salt and pepper
- 1 medium onion
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 c. green peas
- 3 to 4 white potatoes
- 3 to 4 carrots
Directions

1Coat the roast with flour.

2Brown roast on all sides in cooking oil.

3Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder, salt and pepper.

4Add onion and water.

5Cover and roast for about 2 hours at 325° or simmer on low fire for about 2 hours.

6Add vegetables and cook about an hour longer or until meat and vegetables are tender.
