  • 8 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 c. (6 medium) cubed new potatoes
  • 1 c. (2 medium) chopped onions
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme

    In a 3-quart saucepan, cook bacon over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the fat becomes transparent, being careful not to overcook.
