Potato Bake

  • 1 kg potato
  • 600 ml thickened cream
  • 250 g bacon, diced
  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 500 g tasty cheese, shredded
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Preheat oven to 180deg celcuis and grease a large metal baking dish.

    slice potatoes into thin slices, arrange some on the bottom of a large baking dish.
  3. 3
    add some diced bacon and mushrooms along with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and repeat till dish is full with a potato layer on top.

    pour cream over top of potatoes and sprinkle with cheese.
  5. 5
    Bake for 45min to 1 hour, test with a fork to make sure potatoes are cooked.

    If top becomes too brown whilst cooking cover with foil.
