- 12 large potatoes
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. butter (melt 1/2 c. and slice other for top)
- 1/3 c. onion, chopped
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. shredded cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook potatoes with skin on.

2Cool, peel, then dice potatoes or cut up.

3Put in a 9 x 12-inch pan.

4Melt 1/2 butter.

5Add remaining ingredients; mix well.

6Pour sauce over potatoes; mix lightly. Cover top with remaining butter, sliced over the top.

7Cover with cornflake crumbs (1 to 1 1/2 cups).

8Bake for about 30 minutes at 350°.
