- 1 (32 oz.) bag hash browns, thawed
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 stick melted butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
- 2 c. corn flakes, crushed
Directions

1Melt 1 stick butter; set aside.

2Mix potatoes, onion and Cheddar.

3Mix butter, soup and sour cream.

4Pour over potatoes and stir.

5Melt 1/2 stick butter and mix with corn flakes.

6Sprinkle over potatoes.

7Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 1/2 to 3/4 hour until potatoes are tender.
