  • 1 (32 oz.) bag hash browns, thawed
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 stick melted butter or margarine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 c. corn flakes, crushed

Directions

    Melt 1 stick butter; set aside.

    Mix potatoes, onion and Cheddar.

    Mix butter, soup and sour cream.

    Pour over potatoes and stir.

    Melt 1/2 stick butter and mix with corn flakes.

    Sprinkle over potatoes.

    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 1/2 to 3/4 hour until potatoes are tender.
