- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 medium onion
- 1 roll mild pork sausage
- 2 c. American cheese
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 6 large potatoes, sliced
Directions

1Brown sausage in skillet; drain grease and set aside.

2Place a layer of potatoes in baking dish.

3Sprinkle some cooked sausage, diced onion and shredded American cheese over potatoes; repeat layers until all ingredients have been used.

4Mix soup with 1/2 cup of water in bowl.

5Pour this over casserole.

6Slice 1/2 stick butter into pats and place on top.

7Bake at 375° for 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender.
