- 4 or 5 medium Irish potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1/4 stick margarine
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/2 can water
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Butter a casserole dish.

2Slice potatoes and onion thin.

3Mix soups and water.

4Spread a thin layer of soup mixture in bottom of casserole dish, then a layer of potatoes and onion.

5Dot with butter.

6Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

7Layer again as preceding. Place in a 325° oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until potatoes are tender.

8Spread with cheese and return to oven until cheese melts.
