- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. scalded milk
- 1/3 c. butter
- 4 to 5 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
Directions

1Beat mashed potatoes; add eggs, sugar, milk and butter.

2Beat well.

3Add yeast, that has been dissolved in water.

4Beat in flour and salt until smooth.

5Let rise until double.

6Roll dough out and cut into donuts.

7Let rise again.

8Fry in oil at 375° until golden.
